OUR STORY

Built on Trust. Driven by Community.

Horsepower Auto is run by Carlos Mendez, a lifelong mechanic who got tired of watching shops overcharge and underdeliver. He opened Horsepower with one lift, one toolbox, and a simple promise: tell the truth, charge fair, fix it right.

Carlos grew up turning wrenches in his dad's garage in Pueblo. After working at dealerships and chain shops, he knew there had to be a better way. Today, our team of four technicians serves the greater Denver area with the same values Carlos started with — honesty, quality, and respect for your time and budget.

What Our Community Says

“I've been bringing my cars here for 6 years. They're honest, fair, and always explain what needs to be done vs. what can wait.”
Mike R.Toyota Camry owner
“After the dealer quoted a big repair, I brought it here for a second opinion. Turned out I only needed a much smaller repair.”
James K.BMW 3 Series owner
“They texted me photos of what they found under my car. That kind of transparency is why I'll never go anywhere else.”
